Good-bye to one very dedicated and devoted teacher...we are lucky to have had even six months with one of the best teachers at Georgia's school!
Well we made it to the last day of term...Georgia was so excited this morning as they are having a party morning tea to say goodbye to Mrs Whitehead and also watching the movie 'Charlotte's Web' as the class has just finished the book...oh we will miss such a gorgeous teacher! The children are singing a special song to her at Hui today. We made a photo album memory book for Mrs Whitehead and Georgia has spent a week also colouring in blank pages, writing messages and trying to make it special...Mummy is so sad she can't go and say goodbye personally but as there will be lots and lots of tears today...maybe in a way it is easier to be sick at home...all the best Mrs Whitehead, we really will miss you!
Time for a quick word search before school...(and yes she did negotiate to wear her new favourite 'good dress' for the second day in a row)...
We have been so proud how Georgia has tackled her homework this term...she is loving her reading, her word searches (can't get enough of them) and in general is enthusiastic about learning...bless...
