...as a special super duper one-time treat...the girls were allowed to pick one approved doll each (from our thousands) and they were allowed to play hairdressers with scissors in the kitchen...well...they were in Heaven!
..."She looks like Helen Clark", said Olivia..."I know", said George..."she is suppose to"...the girls have always known who the former 'boss of New Zealand' was and do have trouble remembering that Mr Key is now in charge...Mummy was almost crying with laughter at this point...x
Welcome to our daisy chain blog. This blog started as a way to keep our far-away family and friends in touch with two very special little girls...it has grown however into a wonderful memory keeper that helps us cherish and appreciate how quickly little children grow and the gorgeous little things they do and say on a day to day basis... Big kiss. Andy, Sarah, Georgia and Olivia (Lou Lou)...x
Our girls love making daisy-chains. Daisys also seem symbolic of little girls and childhood in general....Mummy wears the perfum Daisy by Marc Jacobs. Daisy-chains also symbolises what we are doing now...making a chain of communication...to help give the feeling that our family are right here with us joining in...welcome, welcome, welcome...
