Parent...Teacher...Student Conferences...

Georgie wanted to quickly practise reading a poem she learnt to show Mrs Whitehead today...

We love Mrs Whitehead...we are so sad that we only have her for a tiny bit longer...off to Australia she goes...sob sob...

We went through all of Georgia's book and discussed her work. Georgia has made big progress in just two terms this year. She has doubled the amount of words she knows how to spell and is learning to slow down with her story writing and really think about formation. Mrs Whitehead loves Georgia's sense of fun which apparently creeps into everything the class does...Mrs Whitehead said that George is such a girly girl yet she can mix with the boys with no problem at all and loves the big loud activities especially. So our goals are to work more on spelling and number awareness and we were given a truck load of activities and tips to help develop that even further. With Georgia being a young year two the goal is that even though she is exactly where she should be for her age, the aim is to keep her up with the older class as much as possible...

...then Mummy and George went to have a civilised coffee and hot chocolate to debrief on our school meeting and the goals we had set...

Then we went to pick Lou up from kindy...
